Better to do two half day shoots a week apart so that you get some new fresh ideas. You will get stale and very tired shooting 10 hours straight.
It easy to get around 6 sets in a 5 hour session for the web but for magazines work you would shoot less.
I quite agree. I usually start getting worn out after the 4 hour point - especially when I'm moving around a lot for different angles, climbing ladders for aerials, etc. Plus most models tend to get lulled in to boredom by that point as well, with the same facial expression.

Sometimes you just have no choice, though - if you've rented a location and want to take full advantage of every minute of the rental.
