People around the world owe him their lives a dozen times over as he's exposed crook after crook after fraud after murderer etc. Sort of if Batman had a radio show at night.

We had a kick ass team of researchers and we would go after crooks like no tomorrow. Put the fear of God into the military-industrial complex gangsters.

He and his wife Ramona were like the Johnny Cash & June Carter-Cash of radio, conspiracy theories, paranormal stuff. He really, really loved that woman no-end. Can you imagine being married for 15 years and NEVER spending a day apart??? They was glued.

She had a beautiful voice. I mean Ramona had a BEAUTIFUL voice. I would nag Art to put Ramona on with him more. She really carried over the airwaves and even if you had rotten speakers she STILL sounded glorious.

Asthma is no joke. I'm just not willing to accept she is gone so soon.

I didn't give Art enough credit in those early years. I was introduced to him by ham radio users in Southern California. They loved Art. I couldn't understand what they liked.......Uhhhhhh, what did I know !! I found x-rated ham radio in the wee hours of the morning, and that is when I listened to Howard Stern and Art Bell. For some reason, all three forms of radio calmed me down and put me to sleep.

You were lucky to work in an Art Bell environment. I felt like I lost a family member when Ramona died. Art has this big crush on Crystal Gayle, the country singer with the long hair. She even wrote a song for his show. If she is single or even if she's married, I bet she was on the phone immediately to console him. In fact, I am writing to him to give him my best wishes. I feel very lucky that I have heard him and his guests as frequently as I have.
