Last year after reading about the money people are making with avs, I did a big black avs, because the avs dude I talked to said thats a huge niche. So I dropped over $900 in designs and movie content and image content and traffic. I even paid a gfy'er $300 for some yahoo groups promotion thing, bought traffic, and promoted it myself. I mean I was serious about promoting this thing. After 4 months it was doing like 1:3,500 and I made $53. I felt like a retard and just deleted the whole thing cuz I was pissed.

Honestly $900 isn't very much to lose. Think about it, you're basically paying $900 to be educated on a new area. Pretty cheap really. You should have tweaked and modified it.

Oh, another thing, never ever delete a site unless you absolutely have to. It will make money over the years to come. Last year I made $800 from a shitty little site I built in 2003, took absolutely no work and put $800 in my pocket. Its like free money, the site already paid for itself in 2003. Oh, in 2004 the same site made me $1,200. That's $2,000 free, this year its made $50 so far. If it closes out at $500, even $300 I'll be plenty happy.
