Yes, you MUST start your own "fake tgp" and/or "fake LL" (or real ones if you enjoy reviewing crap all day, haha) and NEVER submit a gallery or free site without a recip to your own niche matching page!

Get a "bookmark this site" link on each niche page of your tgp/LL, and use FHG's and your own galleries (with recips back to tgp's/LL's so it's a real recip trade!) to fill in your niche pages. Make as much real text content as you can on each page. Dont make it spammy, just relevant.

Top lists are not much spoken of anymore these days, but look for some niche top lists and submit your tgp/LL to them as well.

If you do this, you'll get real human clicks coming in from the recips, feed the top lists to get return traffic, and get SE spiders all over you.

Try this frame of mind... TGP's and Link Lists are primarily for sending myself traffic. Sales made from them are the icing on the cake, but first I want the cake first!

I'm not saying to use your ad spots to advertise your own site, but thats how important it is to always be thinking ahead. Your marketing doesnt begin *and* end with making a gallery! It only begins there.
