It's ultimately the responsability and/or interest of the board owners to make a judgement call on whether this is beneficial to the board or not.
Board members' actions can also speak highly, if those actions include stopping frequenting the board, or coming around less often.
But, as I said, it's not my board and as an individual member I may not grasp the whole picture of whether or not these sigwhores add any value to its overall profitabilty.
