They are not as innovative as people think outside of their SE. For virtually everything else they've done, there is another example of it out there that is equal to it or (usually) better.

I find that to be very disturbing because it means the only thing keeping them at the top is the SE portion of their company. Should someone else come along with a better SE, Google suddenly isn't going to be perceived as the future of computing.
