But yea they need to be sent to a detox center for the first week, that way if they have medical issues, they will be addressed immediately.
Locking someone in a room is basically manslaughter/murder if something were to happen to their heart, or they went into a coma.

trust me i have helped a few people kick habits..
When i suggested poppy seeds and /or codeine i was referring to only heroin addiction , and i wasnt suggesting giving them any sort of dose, the drug is used to mimick the opiate they are using making the withdrawl less..
and yes it is possible they might die , but they will likely die from the drugs anyways if they are hardcore enought to slip into a coma or have a stroke..
