American History X was not so good. Mainly because it portrayed ALL skinheads as racist neo-nazis...when on the contrary, the skinhead movement started in England as an anti-racist group. Ignorant movie makers make me want to fuck them up skinhead style
Additionally, American History X made a real good case FOR racism. The fundamental issue of course is the individual. Statistically blacks are just as the movie said - dumber, more crime prone, more economically challenged, etc....however it is the PREJUDICE against blacks that is really the issue. Every person, be he black or whatever needs to be judged on their INDIVIDUAL merit, not PRE-judged based on their skin color or ethnicity.
