I would never spend money on drugs or alcohol. I would rather waste it on material goods like clothes, makeup, car, things that are actually tangible.
I don't like to spend money on "untageable" (if that's a word) things, I like to buy actual things and have something to show for it.
Whenever I wanna throw away money I just buy clothes and makeup, at least that way I have something to show for it and it helps me look better, I don't see the point of wasting money on drugs. I already get "high" whenever I buy new stuff, I can feel adrenaline rushing through my veins at the MAC makeup counter, I don't need any drugs.

and props to you... i catch grief every once in awhile from people who want me to do a line with em or partake in whatever drug they are using, but i just tell em "hey, i had my fair share of that shit when i was younger"
