too late to edit above post... but now that i think about it, i know someone who got in a moldy shipment of marijuana and it had turned all purple from the mold... when you hit the sides of the ziplock bag, a big cloud of purple dust would puff out of the bag...
they thought they were screwed, and that none would buy it, and that they would have to eat the loss...
until they came up with the idea that they could sell it as purple haze (this happened back in the late 70s') so thinking that it was purple haze, everyone bought as much of it as they could... the whole shipment sold in days, and people were begging for more, lol.
i remember a gal from one of the bars was telling me one night how she "made" cocain out of a bunch of different shit, and it didnt even have coke in it...
she would put some shit in it to make ya lips & tongue numb, something to make ya speed, something to make it look "pearly", (pearl is what they call good coke around here, either that or fire... dont know if its that way everywhere. i know streetnames change after awhile. they call mainlining herion "boy", but anyway... people would talk about how good so&sos' last coke was, and it wouldnt even have coke in it...
so now that i think about it, its so easy to get misinformation from those that are supposed to be "in the know"
