people should seriously consider giving their multiplexes a rest and hitting the arthouse theatres if they think that movies suck nowadays...yes...movies suck...there are plenty of great films though  |
I acquired a copy of the Contant Gardner last night and I am planning on watching it tonight.
The problem is that even though international release dates for big blockbusters are becoming more or less the same we still have to wait a while between the American and UK release dates for the more quality films. I try to see all the Oscar films before they come out and that is always a real challenge as some don't get released here until afterwards. Heck, sometimes they are on DVD in the States before they are in the cinemas in the UK.
I am an arthouse and world cinema type of gal. I watched four movies on dvd last night..three were Japanese and one was French.
