A lot of the current game is a game of reputation and 'trial and error'. Unfortunately, this costs money. Whoever can come up with a more PREDICTABLE SYSTEM to control variation will make TONS OF MONEY.
I say this based on my own experience as a submitter since 2000 and as the owner of a company that did a huge volume of submissions. EFFECTIVE gallery submissions is a mix of a) effective copywriting b) input sensitive and feedback compliant data entry and, most importantly, c) customer-centric content selection/buying policies. Anything other than this troika of factors is a reversion to the old 'gut feel' and 'shot in the dark' trial and error approach.
