I don't think this is a reflection of the holidays, only that they have people out sick, on vacation and just can't deliver. Hey Avalance, you should have contacted me. I babysit almost every job if I know it is for a GFYer. For instance, Mike Vega and Pete ordered business cards almost a month ago and I knew that they needed them for the show so I burnt $80 to send them UPS Nextday. Same thing with Joe Spikes and Mike Hawk...I bit the bullet and spent the money to overnight them so they would have them in time for the show.
I try to get everyone to contact me before they order if they are coming from GFY (also because I give better prices to GFYers). Once I know that it's a job that needs to be done by a certain time I baby sit it until it's shipped. I have spent more money in upgrading shipping than I made on the actual job.
GFY is probably 3 - 5% of my total business so it's hard for me to watch for your jobs unless you contact me and let me know.
