I saw it last night. How awesome!! They got the gorilla behaviour down so perfectly. And the brontosaurus chase was my favourite dinosaur scene.
And the bugs! EEEEEEEEW! What a cool movie.
I don't think the transportation question was ever answered much in any version, but it bothered me a bit, too.
