A lot of times it comes down to the lighting in the room. It also depends how you'll be using it. Yahoo downgrades image quality, so over that the original Logitech from several years ago can (under the right lighting conditions) rival todays webcams.
I would recommend looking at other peoples cams and asking them what model they use if you like their picture.
