To veer in a somewhat personal direction, for a moment, if you'll indulge... I have felt inclined of late to offer missives, like arrows arcing out across a twilit sky. My eyes are closed. I have no target in my heart. The only thing that keeps me coming out into the chilly field at night, is the hope -- no -- the Faith, that any of the madness we give so much precious Human time to is doing any good.
