Have you tried staples?
Actually I think I heard somewhere that if you use your own saliva (If your mouth is clean, that is) as a lubricant for your contacts your eyes seem to accept them a little bit better... I wouldn't try it until someone else confirms that it's true, like I said it's only something I "Heard"
