Ok check this out - I got my son a puppy from the pound for xmas (killed 2 birds with one stone... saved the dogs life and made the kid REAL happy hehe) - He's a mut Dachshund / Chihuahua mix. Small dog so I had to fix up my iron gate with some plastic chickenwire.
All is cool, the dog can't get out, UNTIL LAST NIGHT - The racoon must have got pissed cuz he tore the chickenwire up and basically ripped it down!
Anyone know how to keep a racoon away
without calling the local shelter? When I picked up the dog I told them about the racoon. They said they HAVE to put all racoons to sleep no matter what. So I'm not calling them in for sure
