Sharks will attack any target with a quick attack to disable the prey. They then linger around and generally wait for it to die before going in to finish it off.

This is why most humans have the chance to escape, meanwhile most animals can't crawl out of the water to escape the next attack.

When you enter the ocean like it or not, you are pert of the food chain..
