I am not personally fond of his songs but I have to defend this kid here. I have known him since '95. He is true to his wiggerness. He eats and sleeps hip hop and is a troubled kid.
You can't forget this... when you look around the malls of America you see tons of people who look just like him. This was happening before he even released a record. That means he has become the representative of a certain segment of the population and a lifestyle. That's a nice thing to be as an artist. It usually means you have to really fuck up to fail.
Until someone else comes out that can replace him as the embodiment of wigger rebels Eminem will always be here. Suburban America needs their rebels to relate to. That's all he is and like him or not he's also good at what he does.
