I don't think that Jack is posting with the intent of talking over people's heads, I just think that his intelligence level is over that of the average person (not going to limit it to just GFYers). He is a smart guy, and just has not learned to "dumb it down" when he posts.
Some people will understand him, most won't.
I will admit that I consider myself fairly intelligent, and I have to break out my Thesaurus during telephone conversations with him.
I honestly don't believe that he is trying to impress anyone, he is just really fucking smart. Really smart people communicate on a higher level than most of us.
