I don't recall the ultimate disposition of this case but I think the sheriff could and would be very happy to charge others in this case and then let them fight it out in court for 10 years.

what crime would they have charged them with that took place in ohio ? i have never heard of any state trying someone for something that never took place in their state.. the prosecuter has to actually name a crime.. the state laws aren't valid in other states..
