I don't get why either of us needs to get discarded. Who cares if I'm not into her? I've been rejected by a lot of women and still had to see them from time to time. It's not what I'd call a mood lifter, but it's not the end of the world. Is it some how more degrading for a woman to be rejected by a man than it is for a man to be rejected by a woman?
