That's my problem with the whole thing. Instead of dealing with the problem up front at the beginning of the transaction by communicating with the client, they (SI) want to drag this shit out for months? It sucks that their name is getting dragged thru the mud in this thread but that is what happens when you stop communicating with a client that you owe $8K to and lie to him about sending him his refund.
It sounds like this will be resolved pretty quickly now that everything is out in the open and it's a shame that all this could have been avoided if only SI would have answered a phone call, an email or an ICQ. Or perhaps not lied about sending the wire time after time. Either way, this doesn't shed a positive light on how SI does business IMHO.
SI has addressed some of the issues brought up by this client but they have yet to address why they continually lied to the client about wiring him the money.
