It's not really any of my business, but since its plasted on gfy i'll share my 2 cents...
1.) Seems to me this was caused by chris not liking bjufs partner, and when his partner threatened to sue if he didn't get his money, started dicking them around to get "even" with him.. regardless of how much of an asshole bdjufs partner is, doesn't mean you should withhold their money without delivering their services/product
2.) You shouldn't be offering to fly him out there. YOU should be flying up there.
3.) When you keep saying you want to come to a "fair for both of you" solution, i'm assuming you mean deduct the fine from the 8000... in which case you should show proof to bdjuf... i don't know what is so hard about faxing them a copy of the fine?
4.) Holding someones money for 5 months and giving them a runaround is unacceptable any way you look at it, especially if it was over a grudge
AND THE MAIN POINT
5.) You didn't once address the fact that you told bjuf you had SENT the wire numerous times. So you are saying you lied about sending the money and gave them the runaround intentionally? bdjuf says hes got logs of you saying you've already sent the wire numerous times... so whats all this talk about "fly out here and resolve it" ? If you already told him you've sent the wire a bunch of times, looks like it was resolved, no? Then send the man his money
what it looks like, and you can choose to not say anything on gfy and exclaim you want to deal with it between you and bdjuf, is that you got in an arguement with bdjufs partner and decided to fuck with them + their time
moral of the story, even if someone pisses you off to no end, doesn't mean it makes it right to hold someones money for 5 months and give them the runaround with "i sent it a long time ago"
and on that note, i think its in yours and your companies best interest to address those concerns, because as it stands you are looking like a flat out liar.. telling someone you sent a wire 3+ times and not sending it
and damn, sorry for rambling... but that kind of shit pisses me off the most... "its been sent"
