I do agree that fighting someone unprofessional by being unprofessional is not the way to do business. Everyone does things there own way. If someone was calling and giving threats it might be easier to get them off your back by saying "hey it was sent" when it actually was not. I cannot really comment on this as I do not know the entire situation.
I do see someone from Split did post and say they got an entire class c blocked, this could explain the fine that was mentioned.
