Most lawyers I have dealt with would strongly advise you to not take this sort of course of action, and to wait and let the courts decide. If you know you did nothing at all wrong, and that Split was 100% making up the story about any sort of fine then taking them to court would have gotten you paid off without error.

Taking it here and trying to damage their rep and trying to cause them to lose business can only hurt you and also at the same time make the person not want to pay you back.

I am not bashing at all for bringing it here, it happens daily, but I just think if you were taking the legal route and consulted a lawyer he would advise you to not issue a public statement and demanding the money back and saying you will have the thread deleted. The damage has already been done, having the thread deleted will not do to much for them.

I am just speaking my mind. I respect both parties involved.
