The Sambia tribe of Papua New Guinea believe it is important for young boys to ingest semen to develop into healthy, strong, masculine men. Therefore, it is common practice among them for young boys to fellate men.

Disturbing but actually true.

And speaking of the Sambia, both among them and among the people of Salinas, Dominican Republic, it is somewhat common for children to be born girls, and only during puberty to start developing boys (something called in Salinas, where it happens with about 1 in 90 girls, Guevedoche, or "balls at twelve").
If a developing XY fetus lacks an enzyme known as 5-alpha-reductase, it will not develop male organs despite having male DNA. However, in puberty as production of sex hormones increase, the higher amounts of testosterone (which both male and females make) causes the body to start following the XY outline.
