PGP is all fine and dandy for 99% of your encryption issues if all you're worried about is your competition reading your e-mail traffic. However keep in the back of your mind that Uncle Sam could read your PGP encrypted mail if he wanted to waste the resources of over 100+ acres of specialized NSA computing power on your reading your message.
In reality, its easier to get one of the joint task force NSA/CIA black bag teams to install a keylogger on your machine and forward your passphrase onward, this assuming you're in the CONUS.
But to answer your question, yes, I still use PGP.
