It wasn't really that long ago that our country married off our daughters at 13 and 14 years old.....
my personal feelings are 16-17 year olds are old enough to consent, the only problem I have with it is when the older person is in a position of power. Then concet can get fogged much more IMHO. example: all these damn teachers banging their stuents....
and before the GFY sensitivy police start climbing my back, I'm not advocating sleeping with a 16 year old....just my opnions on what others do.....
although, anyone remember the countdown til Britney turned 18? Did it make her any less hot just because she was 16 when she started? if it wasn't known she was only 16...would it have made a difference?
on the other hand, as a father of a daughter, my views change more and more every year about age of concent for women being 30 ;))))
