I love Mcdys breakfast but the egg mcmuffin and an oj is my preference. I always have it easy when I order there. Its always the same thing. "I'll take a #1".
When I was 19 and at school in California, I went on one of my first road trips to hustle pool through central california. In Mountainview, we went broke and me and my road partner worked a day in this taco place whose owner was in the pool room at the time we went bust. My buddy and I basically did dishes for half a day, made $60 and were back on our way to the Bay Area. When your in a spot and have little options, having an opportunity to make some money in a fast food joint is a relief.
I also worked at a fast food place when I was 17-18 yo. It was a humbling experience and taught me alot about the importance of education.
If my family was starving and my options were very limited, I would have no problem living in a trailer, collecting unemployment or slinging burgers. I would rather see my kids fed than feed my ego and watch my kids go hungry.
