For some reason some people get defensive and shout "YOU HATE US" as soon as someone disagrees with something they are doing. It is a weak generalization that doesn't apply to Canadians as a whole.

Canadians have the younger brother syndrome, I saw it for years when I lived up there. From your beer commercials to comments made about the Ugly americans, to the false story about Americans putting the Canadian Flag on their backpacks.
