Although I promised your mother I wouldn't tell you, she was offended by that crap gift. She discovered that it wasn't sterling and that it wasn't originally meant for her.
Why would someone give you a silver colored dachshund anyway? What kind of gift is that? Why were you not offended at their thoughtlessness?
