Affiliates can be a pain in the ass. A different business model can make sense. I get the feeling though that they are migrating towards affiliates and the "traditional" promotion.. Would luv to know the details. Of course that won't be revealed here. Obvious -- a presence in Europe first.

I was fortunate enough to sit in on some meetings in Miami and without getting into confidential information I will say only this:
IMHO, PinkTV is "well backed" and Jan has his own way of doing things. I think he's somewhat of a visionary and has a great opportunity to make a huge splash in a bourgeoning new market. The door is not closed on an affiliate model (his words) but that's not the direction he's leaning.
2006 should be a very interesting year for PinkTV
