I personally believe very little the U.S. Gov't says. If anyone has been paying attention over the years, you'll notice all the lies, but what they do is wait until the controversy has subdued, then say "Ya, we lied about that, sorry". And the only reason they fess up to it is if it gets exposed, just imagine the things that they have still gotten away with.

Just look at the so-called Patriot Act... now what's in the news today? Seems the U.S. Gov't was illegally "eavesdropping" on people.

War on Iraq - "Oh, ya, that info was faulty, sorry, but we're there now so we might as well stay for a bit"

From 1932 - 1972 U.S. Gov't Secretly uses 600 black men to study syphilis. Telling them is was to study "bad blood", they didn't treat them for the syphilis, rather studied the effects of it, telling them they were being treated. What was supposed to only last 6 months went for 40 years and only stopped due to the New York Times exposing the project.

I absolutely and 100% do not trust the U.S. Gov't at all. I wouldn't put anything past them, they are the most corrupt group of people in the World.
