I once got a new cat....the litter box was right next to the tub, but he would only shit in the tub.
The experts at the world-famous animal hospital told me to put 1/2 inch of water in the tub, and he would go in the litter box, no problem.
So I did.
And I came home to find a huge shit on my pillow.
The cat was gone the next day.
