I am sure if Chris roamed around his office, more than a couple of people would tell him of my past. I have shouldered my share of PR debacles and have always taken my own advice. Where is Aeon when I need him? Haha
I don't blame him so much as I do what influences marketing reps in this industry. You see marketing reps go from job to job not caring a bit about arguing on message boards, and for someone new, it seems they are in a rewarding position. Fact is they are not, few large companies that pay well will hire you if you are combustible. I cherish both companies that I have worked for, I took / take them both very serious. I made / make good money with both.
It is my job to take the higher road and too take the brunt of the anger when something goes wrong. It does not matter if a programmer or accountant made the mistake, my checks come weekly to take responsibility and offer solutions.
Maybe if everyone can let up on him for a bit, as it is Christmas, this will only serve to help him move forward in the industry and everything will work out for everyone.
I just arrived in NYC this morning, I am going to endure the fridgid cold and take in some of the Holiday spectacles around the city.
