Not sure I understand this... unless you mean when financing a bike? I believe any company (Honda, Yamaha, Bank Of America, etc) requires full coverage on a vehicle when financed.
I paid cash for my bikes and then insure them however I want.. my cruisers have full coverage, but I carry a little less coverage on the sport bikes because the dont cost as much and they are more expensive to insure.
