I climbed to the top of a high-tension pole, not the little 40-50 ft poles by the road but the 200 or so foot 4ft wide poles in the middle of the night. The hardest part was coming down in pitch black. The "rungs" or steps are nothing more than a removeable piece of rod, hanging in a 2 in. long square bracket. You can just lift them right out. Bad part is that they all move 1-2 inches side to side when you climb on them. But hey, I just had to touch the top
