I don't think i'd burn bridges.. they'd just question my reasons, especially after investing in me.. they have alot of industry contacts at all the top vendors and have a large customer base in the North East..
this whole idea of me leaving has been an after thought for a while, but Monday i was re-assigned to a project that requires me to travel out of state 3 days a week and deal with alot of corporate politics at this customer.. i simply have no real benefit of this to me,, the salary just isnt worth traveling so much and still working on a project.
