Costa Rica Bash if you're able, Feb 23rd-26th. It should give you an idea of the country and the people. As well, we will be holding seminars the first day on how to move your business offshore, taxation (or lack of) in CR, the people here, etc...
I bought a brand-new constructed house here in August, in a pretty good area, for $120,000. It's about 214 square metres in size, about 13 rooms including bathrooms. So real estate is definately a steal!
As for the people, depends how you act. If you flash money, steal their women and talk down to them, generally they probably will resent you. If you are chill, you should have no problems.
