I think there are at least four levels of reality in this America:
1. Inherited Old World Money, never worked, pulls the strings of politicians, judges, bankers, and the like. Always had it, always will.
2. New World Money, the rich folks in America today, Gates, Dell, Trammell-Crows, Rockafellers, Westinghouse, ect. Families that recognized opportunity and made the money. Most would like to move into Class 1 but are tainted by their labors.
3. Working Middle Classes. Work, Bills, Kids, Church, Hobbies, Sports, etc. Smart, educated, raising a family and focused on getting ahead.
4. Welfare Class. Never had it, never will. Living on the public dole. Seem like slaves without the labors. Kids dream of becoming Working Middle Class.
The system is rigged against the individual. If you aren't incredibly smart, lucky, or connected, you will stay where you are or drop.
Just my opinion.....I'm sure there is a better way.
