Seeing how upset Damian gets, I would hate to see what would happen if he got screwed for a few grand. He'd either kill the other person or himself.
Damian, grow some balls man. If you're going to out someone, no matter the dollar amount, you need to be confident and absolutely should not be apologizing for anything unless you're proven wrong.
