I was wanderin' through the bulk food section of a grocery superstore in Scarborough a few years back - and saw an east-indian lady scooping out liquid cherry pie filling from a bin with her fingers...and eating it!

If that weren't enough - a store employee spotted her, rushed over and said, "No, no...lady - you have to use the ladle!" - and he hands her a big plastic spoon. She takes the spoon, dips it in to the cherry pie filling...and begins licking the spoon in front of the employee.

I turned around and walked quickly out of the store. Never shopped there again.
