Please point out where I said one would work without the other. I just said one is much more important than the other.
But isn't it ironic in a business that always complains about free content being the problem that some regard shunting the surfer around and trying to sell him shitty content as being an option.
Sell a customer a shitty product one, you run the risk of losing him all together. sell him a good product and you run the risk of selling to him again.
Look at some of the solutions in this thread and ask yourself why is free content so popular. Would you pay for some of the options being offered?
