I believe the whole point of what they are saying is that the AP would have taken an approach more akin to: "The team over at MensNiche just got together and sent out the following memo the all of it's affiliates, which I/we feel to be very unprofessional"
and not: "Sounds like the
highschool kids over there put their heads together and sent out a memo. Congrats,
idiots:"
