Just got back from some friends. I have known her for 7 years, and her fiance off and on for a few. I am happy for them that they decided to get married, and wish them all the best.

They are a young couple, both working hard trying to get ahead. They are not struggling, but it isn't like they have money to burn. They decided that this year, as a Christmas present to each other they would buy an XBox. A pretty heavy investment for them.

Well, about a week ago Steve called home as he had found an abandoned baby kitten, that was covered in oil and obviously hungry. He wanted to know if it was okay if he brought the cat home as she is allergic to them.

Putting her own self interests aside, the kitten was welcomed into their home.

They decided to take it to the vet where they discovered that the cat had worms and other issues totaling $500+. That eliminated the funds that they were going to put towards the XBox, so they decided to name the cat XBox, so they could say they got one for Christmas.

If I win it, I am going to give it to them so they can have the real thing.
If a couple is struggling to gather $500, wouldnt the purchase of an Xbox be counter-productive in their goals to make a better living? In reality, you just let your brain become mush and use it as a form as entertainment.. it wouldnt help them obtain any of their real goals, just hold them back
