kaori is right on about the https port likely being why - most web-based anonymizer proxies don't handle https well, if at all.
With that said, be careful with anonymizer proxies ... some snoop the traffic and/or have setup on hacked servers, including in the middle east and china ... do you really want your private e-gold, banking, etc details flowing through such dodgy sites ...
Anonymizer proxies are overrated anyways ... if one really wants to find out who / where you are, they likely can ... many anonymizer proxies "leak" like a seave anyways ... but even if, hypothetically, you find one that works 100%, you still have to be very careful what your activity - posts, IMs, email, etc alone can often reveal much about a person and their activities, etc, especially if they post a lot as it appears you do.
