Well, it is a little bit of a culture shock.... Dallas is pretty cosmopolitan though and there are lots of "yankees" here. Some people adapt pretty well, others hate it.

Austin has a somewhat younger, liberal flavor. It is more expensive than Dallas. Both cities would be fun if you're single....
