i used to do kickboxing back in the day when i was REALLY fat, within 3 months, i was skinny, toned and in the best shape of my life (plus i loved doing it!) its fun!  i dunno..i guess i just like bootcamp style of training over the run on a treadmill thing. ::shrugs::

Spot on. Learn something while you're spending all that energy. Don't just pick things up and down and run on the spot.
You'll be able to kick everyone's ass much more easily at the end of it too. Good thinking.
